01Clinical and non-clinical areas
In a clinic, some tasks belong to cleaners and some belong to your clinical team. We clean the environment: waiting rooms, reception, bathrooms, staff areas, floors and the non-clinical surfaces in consult and treatment rooms. Clinical equipment, instrument reprocessing and sterilisation stay with your practice.
02Working to your procedures
Most practices have an infection-control policy and a cleaning schedule, often shaped by their accreditation standards. Share yours at the site visit and we'll build it into the written plan, including which products are used where and how often each area is done.
03High-touch surfaces
Door handles, reception counters, chair arms, payment terminals, light switches, taps and toilet flush buttons are where germs spread fastest in a waiting room. They're cleaned and disinfected on every visit, not just when they look dirty.
04Separate cloths and mops
Colour-coded cloths and mops keep bathrooms, clinical areas and general areas apart, so nothing used in a toilet is ever used on a reception counter. It's a simple system, and one of the most important in a clinic.
05Waste and sharps
We empty general waste and recycling. Clinical waste and sharps must be handled by a licensed provider, so they stay in your clinical waste system and are never handled by cleaners.
06What affects the price
Clinic cleaning is priced on the size of the practice, the number of consult rooms and bathrooms, how often you need cleaning and your procedures. After the free site visit, you get a written plan and quote that match how your clinic works.
