01Where germs build up in a gym
In the places people touch and sweat on: handles, grips, bench pads, mats, machine seats and water fountains, plus change room benches and showers. These are wiped down on every visit, because that's where members notice it most.
02Floors that stay safe
Rubber gym flooring can turn slippery or sticky with the wrong product, and timber studio floors don't like too much water. We use cleaners that suit each surface, so floors come up clean without leaving residue.
03Mirrors, glass and change rooms
Mirror walls collect fingerprints and sweat marks quickly, and change rooms and showers are where smells and soap scum build up. Mirrors are cleaned and dried so they're clear, and showers, benches, basins and toilets are cleaned and sanitised.
04How often should a gym be cleaned?
Most gyms need a full clean every day they're open, with extra wipe-downs of equipment in busy periods. Smaller studios may choose a few cleans a week. We'll suggest a schedule at the site visit, and you can change it as your membership grows.
05Cleaning around your members
Early morning, late at night or in quiet hours, whichever suits your timetable. If we clean while the gym is open, we work around members and keep wet floors signposted.
06What affects the price
Gym cleaning is priced on floor area, the amount of equipment, the number of change rooms and showers, and how often you need cleaning. After the free site visit, you get a written plan and quote.
